Hi
I have used both types of sensors and now using the sensor that links to 670g pump,
i found when started with the sensor in my line of work weather the temperatures lifted the tape from the skin ment that I was not always getting the amount of days out of the sensor
recently I was suggested from my Diabetic Educator safe tape remover and also an adhesive that helps keeping the tape attached to the skin it has also helped to keep the pump cannula to stay on
I have had cannulas come out because of dogs jumping and getting paws court and literally pulled out and being in constant moist environment while at work has effected also
I have lost sensors for putting them into spots where blood vessels to close to the surface and taken out or it goes through warm up after 2hours the calibration doesn't like the BGL and you have to end the sensor
I have almost tried underneath arms one just pulled out my stomach is where I use regularly I am unsure about placing on the leg as spend a lot of time of my feet and too much muscle
another reason why I love the sensor it's continuous control and having my levels at my finger tips when exercising

Hi Cathy, that gave me a good laugh as I always go to scan the Sensor where it was before too 😃

Subject: Site and sensor spots
Hi I've experimented with many spots for my sites and sensor spots. For years and years as a child I gave m needle in my bottom. Then I ent to diabetic camp when I was a child and horrors of horrors I thought at the time. They wanted me to give my needle in the leg and arm.
Now I like to try different spots. I'm currently wearing my sensor underneath my breast. It works really well wTch accurate scores and is protected there too. I put my sites there too. I've also tried the back of the arm twice but mainly use my thighs. Oh and I tried my tummy for sensors twice but it's more likely to be knocked off there. I did try my hip area and quite liked it there but was always conscious of it. It's funny isn't it when you just change your sensor and the next day you are scanning and getting no number then you realise it's on the other spot. Lol
