Sure, and I take it you have read the most recent TGA advice. Ozempic supply improved a few months ago but now has been over prescribed again, off label and also to new patients .This advice recommends doctors limit prescribing Ozempic to people who were previously stabilised with it. I will see my doctor today for discussion.

Hi Ann,
Diabetes Australia strongly urges all health professionals to prioritise this medicine for people living with type 2 diabetes until there is enough to support people using this medicine to manage other conditions.
Diabetes Australia wants to hear from people living with diabetes using Ozempic about how it has helped you manage diabetes and what the impact the shortage has had on you. Add your voice to our Spark Change topic here.

I take it that DA is advocating for T2D who are long term Ozempic users, whose T2D is stable as a result of Ozempic given the current TGA advice about the effect again of off label prescribing and supply. Supply is likely to be very difficult until into 2024 again. Good to see greed and poor ethics alive and well from some/many Australian prescribers and pharmacists. I give up. They won. I am not spending the rest of the year scouring Brisbane for supply. Will see my doctor to discuss other options.
