Hi Michael, I set mine at 4.2 and depending on the arrow and if I am within 5 to 10 minutes of eating, a couple of mouthfuls of lemonade does the trick.  I also at times have 3 Berry Bliss jubes .  I check again in 10 minutes with a finger prick to ensure the level is rising,

    Dear all,
Just a word of caution / warning ⚠️. I raised my alarm from 3.8 to 4.5 yesterday. The alarm worked for the next 24 hours giving me warnings at 4.5.
When I was out visiting a relative the sensor just stopped in it's tracks with an a message stating "Alarms Unavailable because there is no   active sensor."
Why did the the sensor keep on working for 24 hours then stop at a most inconvenient time, leaving me without any backup.  This is simply not good enough. The sensor told me I needed a replacement however gave me no time line warning that it would cease working.

Michael, I had bad readings  from my Libre 2 a couple of weeks ago.  I confirmed with finger pricks and replaced the sensor with my spare.  I called Abbott - they asked a lot of questions relating to diagnostics and sent me a replacement sensor.  The support was good and it confirmed that I need to make sure that I have a spare on-hand.  This was my first sensor failure.

    Hi all,
I rang Abbott's this morning regarding the problems encountered with my Freestyle Libre 2. The assistant was very helpful and stated that the low glucose alarm can be altered to a higher level when being used over the two weeks. This makes a great deal of common sense. She also mentioned that the sensor failed from an unknown reason and will send me a replacement as well as a reply parcel to send the sensor back for investigation in the US.
Thanks for all your support as  there was a bit of panic and frustration when the sensor just stopped in its tracks when not at home.
