Type 1 - Connect

I've recently commenced a Tandem TSlim X2 insulin pump. I'm using Tru Steel infusion sets. Just wondering does anyone change their infusion sets every 3 days rather than the recommended 2 days? I am asking as a box of 10 only lasts 20 days.

Hi Jennifer, for several years I have only replaced the Tru Steel infusion set on the 3rd day without problems. The only time that I have changed more frequently is following very hot days that I needed to be outside, this is more the result that the plastic tubing contains about a days insulin supply for me and having it in exposed to high temperatures I get concerned that the insulin has degraded.
