I have been a type 1 diabetic for 55 years and the last 10 years have not really been very kind to me health wise. Anyway I heard about the Omnipod which the federal government is looking to put on the NDSS as currently at the moment it costs $420 a month. Who can afford that?
I've sent an email to the Federal Health Minister the Hon Greg Hunt and our local MP Julie Collins (Tasmania) regarding the Omnipod to go on the NDSS. I have been advised that it is supposedly in the pipeline to happen before the Hon Greg Hunt retires prior to the Federal May elections.
Is there anyone else that has any other information regarding this?
