Dear David
Thank you for your response...it has lifted my spirits! In the middle of 2019 my doctor started me on Glyxambi 10/5 mg and my readings improved. (I was on Jardiamet previously). In early 2020 he changed the Glyxambi to 25/5 mg and added Rocaltrol 0.25 mcg. I too suffered the effect of excessive passing of urine. Initially I lost a lot of weight but gradually have put some on again and look and feel better as well. My HbA1c was 7.2 in early July....not the best but I will get there.

Hi Antoinette, late last year my new Doctor change my medication to Diaformin XR 1000 along with Glyxambi 10mg/5mg because my 6 monthly HBAC1 was at 10.3.
The effect of the change in meds showed at the next 6 months with a HBAC1 of 6.9 plus a weight loss of 12kgs,the only other side effect that goes with Glyxambi was an increase in Urine but this manageable.
if you Google Glyxambiit is noted in some postings that there is an expectation of a 20lb weight reduction .
My sugar levels are remaking within an acceptable range now.

Has anyone had any experience with Glyxambi (empagliflozin 25 mg, linagliptin 5 mg) ?
