For this community webinar we will have Julia Lam an optometrist at Specsavers on the Central Coast of NSW join us.
Julia will be available to take your questions about diabetes and eye health, as well as make a presentation.
Many people might have heard about diabetic retinopathy but not really understand what it means or the early warning signs. Julia will explain how eye problems can start and what to look out for.
She will discuss the role of the optometrist in diabetes management and what's involved in a diabetes eye check. And importantly, she will discuss what you can do to keep your eyes in good shape.
