    Has anyone else struck problems with this products quality control  I an finding many times when preping before injecting the insulin is not expressing so I change the needle.  This can happen many times.   Del.

    Hi Del,
    There are two manufacturers of4 mm needles. B&D and Novofine. I use BD with Levimir but on the Apidra insulin the fit isn't as snug. Maybe give it a try to ascertain if it's a better fit.  In fact, the companies state on the websites which needle they prefer with their pens.

    Thank you Michael,  I have been using Humalog in a Humapen and for many years have used Novafine in various sizes and never had any problems.  4mm size seems to be the culprit  I will give BD a go and hope for better luck. Many thanks Del
